All NYC students and educators have access to the Citywide Digital Library on Sora. Libraries can also use their Sora Advantage account to purchase additional materials for the school's Sora collection. 

Citywide Digital Library on Sora

The Citywide Digital Library is available on Overdrive's Sora platform for all NYC DOE students and teachers.

Help your entire school community sign into Sora to access the Citywide Digital Library (CDL)! With specially curated collections for each grade level, hand-picked titles by school librarians, and a variety of formats to engage your students - the CDL is a valuable resource for all readers in New York City Public Schools.

Build a Sora Collection at Your School!

To build a Sora collection at your school and expand access beyond the Citywide Digital Library for your students and teachers, please consider establishing an Advantage account for your school. Ideally, the school librarian should manage the Overdrive Advantage account. This account also provides access to valuable usage data on Sora for your school community.
