Program Overview

MyLibraryNYC is a partnership between the NYC Public Schools Office of Library Services and the New York City's Public Library Systems: Brooklyn Public Library, New York Public Library and Queens Public Library to raise student achievement through digital access to and school-site delivery of the millions of books and informational resources available in the libraries' collections.

Benefits Include:

Free requests of Teacher Sets – curated text collections by topic, grade level, and format to enhance instruction and learning. We have over 10,000 sets:

on key curricular subjects
in multiple languages
for book clubs
to support reading (large print options, Playaway audio books, VOX read-a-louds)
to develop hands-on learning (games, puppets, graphic calculators, launchpads)

Opportunities to build a collaborative partnership with the local library branch to provide programming services around reading and literacy from MyLibraryNYC School Outreach Librarians;

Invitations to special events such as author talks, gaming contests, exhibitions and more!

Payment of Destiny Library Maintenance fee with includes Titlepeek book cover images, integration of the NOVEL databases, and Follett Tech Support availability
