Developing New York Public Library Web Resources For Educators    ALL

Participants will be part of a focus group to determine web content for educators on New York Public Library's website.  We will have a brief question and answer period, a discussion of favorite resources which educators currently access to augment their curricula, and we will conduct informal user experience sessions to determine current ease of finding materials on the NYPL website

Destiny Users Group – Getting Started                                                               ALL

This workshop will equip you with the day-to-day basics of the Destiny Library Automation System.

Some of the topics discussed will be: adding a patron, adding or deleting materials, circulation,

placing materials on hold, and printing overdue notices. Knowing the fundamentals of Destiny will

enable you to be a more effective manager of your library. Recommended for the newest users of

Destiny.
