Library Services 2012 Annual Fall Conference: Capitalizing on Teaching & Learning through Libraries : Volunteers

A guide to the NYC Department of Education, Office of Library Services 2012 Annual Fall Conference.

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED!

This year’s Library Fall Conference, Capitalizing on Teaching & Learning Through Libraries, is shaping up to be an exciting day but we need your help! We are expecting around 700 attendees and we need volunteers to help us on the day of the conference.

Volunteers are needed to help with registration, set up rooms for workshops, introduce the workshop presenters, give out and collect workshop evaluations, and clean up.

I want to facilitate a session!

Look at the list of workshops on the Session Tabs and choose three (in priority order) that you would like to attend. Then email me at lsmith9@schools.nyc.gov to volunteer to facilitate. I will contact you via e-mail and will try to give you your first choice. Thanks for volunteering!

I want to volunteer!

Those who are interested in volunteering should contact Lynne Kresta Smith at lsmith9@schools.nyc.gov with their name, phone number, e-mail and mailing address. You will be contacted before the conference with more details.
We want to make public our thanks to the many dedicated volunteers, so please respond with your confirmation by
October 19th so we can include your name on the printed program.

I hope to hear from many of you soon!
