Cooperative Collection Development -- CCD: In the Footsteps of the American Presidency

• The School Library System (SLS) Cooperative Collection Development Plan is developed as part of the resource sharing component of the plan of service.

Students got an intimate peek into the presidents seeing "A Glorious Burden " exhibit.  Students were able to see various gowns wore by various first ladies at  inauguration ceremonies as well as personal items like Abe Lincoln's hat and Bill Clinton's saxaphone.

Field Trips

Our CCD Collection is more than just a collection of books and databases.  Our  student's learn to experience the footsteps of the American Presidency first hand by visiting Washington D.C.  They experience these men first hand as the visit the White House,  John F Kennedy' s Grave,  Theodore Roosevelt Memorial,  Lincoln Memorial, Jefferson Memorial and The Washington Monument.
